QORITO is a nonprofit organization composed of professionals in Plastic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, Psychology, Nursing, among others, dedicated to the surgical treatment of craniomaxillofacial malformations, among which the most common are cleft lip, in people low income and have no easy access to specialized health services in Lima and nationwide as well as other conditions that require specialty.
Objectives of the Organization:
Qorito Organization work in partnership with state and private institutions, based on Plastic Surgery Service of the Hospital Nacional Cayetano Heredia, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and an extensive network of institutions like the Universidad de San Agustin de Arequipa, and the Ministry of Health hospitals Nationwide. Has the support from Germany Cleft Kinder Hilfe Organization, an institution that supports to provide free and timely care to patients since 2006.
